"If I had to set forth a mission statement for the MasculineCurves website and my art work, it would be to celebrate real men of all colors through the tasteful display of physique photography. I like to think of it as the MasculineCurves philosophy. The men featured in these galleries are truly what differentiates MasculineCurves.com from all the other beefcake pictorials on the web. They're REAL men with realistic body types, and they've come from all walks of life. They've been business professionals, escorts, recovering substance abusers, former drug dealers, amateur bodybuilders, flight attendants, gay, straight, fathers, grandfathers -- you name it. Whenever I'm interviewing a potential model I'm always probing to understand his unique perspective on life. It's that unique perspective that provides me with my inspiration. It's that unique perspective I strive to convey in my art work."
BIOGRAPHY Cleveland-based fine art photographer Aaron Morrow launched MasculineCurves.com in 2005 as his primary venue for displaying his photographic work of the male physique. Born and raised in New Philadelphia, Ohio, Morrow is a 1994 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and studied music at the University of Akron. He also holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Kent State University.
Morrow took up photography in 2004 when friend Rob Bless (NYC artist and poet) introduced him to the art. "He put a 35mm SLR camera in my hands and said, 'You have to check this out.' From that moment I was hooked." An up and coming artist, Morrow's work has been shown at The Paul Duda Gallery and he was a featured artist in Cleveland's 2005 Black Gay and Proud Art Explosion.
